The Exorcist continues to be an amazing psychological horror film. I haven't seen a film listed here yet that compares as far as "scary" films go. I personally think Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Last House on the Left, Nightmares in a Damaged Brain, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer and a few others bring tons of chills.
